20 questions.
Author: Raine    Date: 09/15/2016 13:16:53

Welcome back, Madame Secretary.

Today Hillary Clinton returns to the campaign trail after a bout with pneumonia. While she was at home resting, she decided to take to twitter to ask a few question of her opponent, and twitter went wild.
Clinton is helping shape the narrative, and showing her expertise at the same time. Instead of letting the press drag this country down with false equivalences as they get buried by Trump’s slippery non-answers and accusations made completely without evidence, Clinton is showing the way.
All of the tweets are at the link.

Those are the very questions that everyone in cable media should be asking of the Republican nominee.

Print media, for the most part, is doing its job. The problem in cable and radio-- these are the people who actually have the ability to ask the questions -- is that they are not pushing back on the very serious issues that Secretary Clinton brings up.

Peace and Love,

Raine

Morning

Not gonna lie, the polls on voter enthusiasm has me worried. Never realized so many in our country could be easily duped or are in that basket of deplorables.

The questions Hillary asked are all great questions, I don't get why they aren't being asked.

Good morning. Oh, never mind the deplorables-I'm more worried about voters like me. I stopped paying attention months ago, and I regret to announce my membership in the Great Apathy.

I'll vote; I can't not, but I'm focusing on local races and probably won't cast a presidential ballot. It won't matter much in Massachusetts, anyway.

The problem is the American electorate is lazy and has a short attention span. All tRump has to do is make a comment that "crooked Hillary" is trying to distract from her own problems, and all the intelligent probing nuance goes out the window. Then we're back to WWF politicking

If every other democrat in MA thinks that way, then tRump takes the state.

Mornin' all..

I'm getting really concerned by the polling lately. It's WAY too close, and by that I mean the Electoral College not just nationwide or state-by-state.

We cannot expect to retake the Senate, much less the House, when there are no damn coattails.

We are a happy bunch today.

Media fatigue.

All parties have taken what should be a noble excercise in service to your fellow man and have turned it into a spinning hippo tail of poop.

It's no wonder the lowest common denominator and complete apathy are so popular right now.

I wouldn't hold my breath - its NPR reporting it so its "lib-ruhl". Fox is the only one that tells them the "truth"

It looks like the only hope for us is if there is a large enough voter turnout. The key is going to be getting non-whites to turn out, even though many will even if out of fear of Trump. The problem may be getting young people who dislike both candidates and feel no compelling reason to vote because they feel both Trump and Clinton suck equally. Although I have to wonder if discourse is distorted because of the loud voices of those who are brainwashed by right-wing media or the Bernie or Bust people who are now supporting Jill Stein.

Nothing like being brainwashed by Fox News, right-wing talk radio, and right-wing web sites that they just turn to for confirmation of their beliefs. Facts have a "Liberal bias".

Apparently the protests in France have now stepped up to firebomb attacks.

CNN is undermining its credibility with yet another flawed poll.
