I know some of us are on the road, some of us are in the Kitchen and some of us are chilling out and enjoying the day.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! Here is what I wrote on Facebook:
A very Happy Thanksgiving to my family and friends, near and far. May this be a joy of joy and good memories. As some of us reflect on those who are no longer with us, let us take joy in the memories of lives well lived. May the warmth of family and friends help us keep old memories alive even as we make new good memories. To everyone, health and happiness - and a Thanksgiving classic from Arlo Guthrie. (Raine, we both picked the same version of Alice's Restaurant.)

Good Morning. Green Beans are blanched - they still need the "Maitre D'hotel" treatment a la Julia Child. Potatoes are cooking.
Soon we will be off to the "Annual Fiasco", or what most of you call Thanksgiving.
And visiting my stable, but declining mother at the hospital later this afternoon. I don't want to believe it, but it's likely her last Thanskgiving.
