This year has been exhausting, to be honest. On that note, let's send 2016 out with a song!

good morning!

I'm doing pretty good, focused like I haven't been in a while on work. Holding my ground on that one front.

So when I finish washing clothes (portable machine in the closet), I do the following.

1. Unplug washer.
2. Turn off faucet, disconnect water hose from faucet, and reinstall filter.
3. Remove drain hose from sink and hang on hanger rod in closet over washer.

So to do laundry this morning I did....

1. Remove filter and attach water hose to faucet.
2. Plug in washer.
3. Load clothes, soap and let 'er rip.

Notice anything missing?

lol - I meant like the youtube button we have. I figured it out by accident with the "embed tweet" on the regular twitter instead of tweetdeck.

MoJo on Trump's press conference.

PEOTUS on computers and hacking:

I think that computers have complicated lives very greatly. The whole age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what is going on. We have speed, we have a lot of other things, but I’m not sure we have the kind the security we need. But I have not spoken with the senators and I will certainly will be over a period of time.

What I found amazing is he claiming responsibility for 5000 jobs at Sprint that IIRC he already claimed credit for. Never mind he didn't have a fucking thing to do with Sprint's decision making.

Was the drain hose still on a hanger in the closet above the washer and NOT In the sink? If so, I suspect that your laundry room was flooded.

There is no "laundry room". The washer sits in the closet, conveniently next to the kitchen sink. So the carpet in the closet got wet. I am very fortunate that I had the washer set to the low water level setting (and it's a very small washer). I think the pump had difficulty getting the water that high as well. Gave the carpet a good vacuuming with the Shop-Vac and a fan is running in there now.

It's strange to think that the only thing that might save the country is that Trump's presidency will be such a disaster that he won't be able to become a full blown dictator. And then, the Republicans will blame everything on Trump and ignore their own contributions. Just like they seem to have done with W, and then they claimed Obama made W's mistakes.

Comment by TriSec on 12/29/2016 18:48:51
I can hardly beleive I'm encouraging 2016, but it needs to step up as there are only a few hours left to get Trump.

Here is the MoJo article on the cyber interference.

It includes the actual report. I am skimming it now. Holy crap! The Russians used a SQL Injection attack to gain access. As I dust off my Security + info, it seems that some agencies and organizations were not following best practices for security.
