Sorry guys, I have been fighting a sinus thing and haven't been sleeping well, so --

I overslept again.

All I have right now is, Matt Lauer, et tu?

in case it gets deleted:
So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!

Morning

Can someone wake us from this nightmare now? At this point Freddy Kruger could be a breath of fresh air.

You know, the moves by Olbermann & Scarborough to clean up & hide out make total sense now. They knew about this.

Oh yea... NBC better fucking not replace Lauer with Megyn Kelly.

Sheeeit he dragged up JoeScar's dead intern too.

How long until he finally turns on McConnell and brings up the drug runner boats his wife's family owns?

I bet he does that via landlines.

I know we should believe the accusers, but we should also give people a chance to defend themselves before being fired.

I am becoming suspicious of this avalanche of people on the left being accused and then being fired.

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel is opening a case file to address allegations that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway violated federal law when she made comments about GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore's Democratic challenger.

Walter Shaub, the former director of the Office of Government Ethics, filed a complaint with the Office of Special Counsel last week alleging that Conway violated the Hatch Act, a decades-old law prohibiting federal employees from using their offices to campaign for or against political candidates.

Link.

HEre's the thing -- I do believe them, until they lose credibility -- all one needs s to PAY attention o the O'Keefe Story from yesterday.

I hope that MPR did due diligence and investigated, the way they appeared to do at NBC.

Remember the Duke Lacross Case?

You know, here's the thing, when we 'say believe women', it also means women who have side-eye. It's not blanket. It's not binary.

I have (a sad amount of) personal experience, and I think I can speak out when I see nonsense happening.

Some of us are victims, some become survivors. We know how to sit back and suss out a story.

Sooo heh.. how about the Today Show with Savannah Guthrie & Rachel Maddow?

Comment by Raine on 11/29/2017 19:12:56
... and one more thing:

I appreciate men speaking out on behalf of women.

I hope they know that women are also going to call bullshit on claims that don't pass the smell test. We need you, but we don't need a hero.

We should allies. they also should take care to pay attention to taking the lead on this issue. I know it puts men in a bad situation. I know.

It's an awful lot like me listening to sisters and brothers of color. I try very hard not to speak on behalf of them.

I hear ya. Honestly the worst that happened to me was being smacked hard on the butt by one of our customers as an event we were having ended and people were either leaving or cleaning up. In shock I told my boss who banned the account the following year, but they showed up this year to my dismay. Other then that I get the usual cleave crap - its tiring and I don't want to have to dress like a nun all the f-ing time. I've gotten the mild end of it really, and its sad that I have to be thankful for that.

But others have endured so much worse it breaks my heart.

It just really seems like there is an over abundance of this right not that is making me pump the brakes. And with the crap O'Keeffe pulls, it almost feels like its pay back for O'Reilly or the allegations against tRump.

side note - my spell check just tried to change O'Reilly to jellyroll.

We shouldn't just fire people. (and I appreciate that your company banned the account, but Why were they let back in? I have lost clients in the past over that crap. I walked away, not everyone can do that. (I paid for it financially. )

As to your story: This isn't an HR situation, The account was banned, and they were back. -- So we are talking COMPANIES instead of individuals, right?

Also? Bill O'Reilly is a jelly roll.

I think they simply forgot to tell the rep not to invite them. In this case it was the owner of the account (Bilbo Bagins in case you are interested)

Yes, there should be a due processes or its not fair to all parties.

I may not fly, and we only have 45 tour buses, but this would never happen on the ground.
