MOrnin' all..

It's incredibly damn sketchy that now that this redistribution to the wealthy bill has passed, suddenly we're seeing big companies saying they're raising their company's minimum wage to $15.

I'm calling BS on that AT&T thing too - they are a multi-BILLION dollar company with MORE then 200K employees. Betting those 1K bonuses are going to management only.

There is some underlying reason why they are putting cash in the hands of employees right now before the end of the tax year. There is more to this.

Could it be that the companies are kissing up to wannabe dictator Trump? AT&T probably is trying to get their deal with Time Warner to go through while Trump continues to call CNN fake news.

Oh yeah.

It's been said that the won't be signing the redistribution to the wealthy bill until January 3rd.

The bill received final passage from Congress yesterday, on December 20th.

Which means the bill needs to be signed into law by Dec. 30 at 11:59pm. After that it's a pocket veto.

I just heard Susan Paige (USA today business reporter) on wtop and she said that if he signs in next year, the #taxscam won't go into effect until 2019 -- AFTER THE MIDTERMS.

So now I am confused. Does this mean they are going to keep Senate in Session to prevent the Pocket Veto? I recall them doing that to Obama.

A fine day at the store. Busy, but not crazy. Serenading the crowd with some light festive airs.

I think they go legislative days (think business days). if you count things out 1/4/18 is ten legislative days.

I've been pondering this as well. It is the only thing I can think of that makes sense.
