I just learned that Gowdy, who said he wanted to leave politics and return to the judiciary has turned down a nomination to the 4th courts of appeals.

I'm thinking his reason that he publicly gave for retiring might not be totally the real story.

In case you didn't hear it this morning, Rep. Hurd (R-TX) was on NPR this morning putting his BS spin on this memo.

His margin of victory in 2016 was 1.3%. Good luck being re-elected. Shit I'm probably gonna donate to whoever his opponent is this year.
