Oh Rudy
Author: BobR    Date: 05/03/2018 13:21:39

Rudy Giuliani, Mr. "Noun, verb, and 9/11", was brought onto tRump's team on Thurs April 26th. It seemed like an odd choice, but Rudy said he was there to "negotiate an end to this for the good of the country",That certainly seemed like an odd choice of words. Based on his actions over the last 24 hrs, one would have to wonder for whose side he is negotiating.

In what was a bit of a bombshell yesterday, Rudy let the cat out of the bag; he admitted what we've known all along, that tRump paid back Cohen for paying off Stormy Daniels.

What was it tRump said last month? Oh yeah...

Whoops - has Rudy not been paying attention? Does he know that tRump doesn't do nuance?

Getting back to the Mueller investigation, Rudy used his apparent knack for making a bad situation worse by saying tRump fired Comey because he wouldn't say tRump wasn't a target of the investigation:

“He fired Comey because Comey would not, among other things, say that he wasn’t a target of the investigation,” the former New York City mayor, who recently joined Trump’s legal team, told Fox News’s Sean Hannity. “He’s entitled to that. Hillary Clinton got that and he couldn’t get that. So he fired him and he said, ‘I’m free of this guy.’”

[...]

The president has changed his reason for Comey since he dismissed the former FBI director in May 2017. The White House initially said Trump fired Comey at the recommendation of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who penned a memo suggesting firing the FBI director over his handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

However, several days later, the president told NBC’s Lester Holt that he fired Comey over the investigation into Russian collusion.

So now we have yet another reason.

How do you know when someone's lying? When they can't keep their story straight.

Thanks Rudy! Don't unpack your boxes - I don't think you'll be staying long.

Between Hannity and Fox and Friends, Fox News is really not helping Trump when they put his people on. They started covering it last night on MSNBC with Lawrence O'Donnell.

Years ago, alledgedly.

I think he has some brain-related issues.

Pet peeve. Job sites that require mm/dd/yy for jobs. Like I really remember the date I started a job in 1998. Seriously, the only reason I remember I started at Web on May 2, 2011 was I was up late the night before watching the coverage of Bin Ladin.

Also a pet peeve, job application sites that are so convoluted and difficult to use they act as a deterrent to applying. I am looking at you, state of Florida.

INCOMING!

After the raid, members of Trump's legal team advised the president not to speak to Cohen, according to a person familiar with the discussion.

Two sources close to Trump's newest attorney, Rudolph Giuliani, say he learned that days after the raid the president had made a call to Cohen, and told Trump never to call again out of concern the call was being recorded by prosecutors.

If Cohen took an early withdrawal form his retirement fund to make the payment, then he probably had to pay an extra tax on it

That's an interesting take, although I have a feeling he not a 401K dude.

I had heard he took out a mortgage to make that payment.

Welp, now that the craziness of the website relaunch is done, my boss just said I'll have a bonus + pay for the extra hours in my deposit this week.

He also said that all of us has some time off from work due. He mentioned going down to DC for a few days and that reminded me of something!

From a friend on FB:

"If your lawyer admits you banged a porn star, broke election finance laws to have your bag man bribe her off, and committed fraud by illegally paying back said bag man, are you still eligible for Nobel Peace Prize? Asking for a friend."
