The Summit with North Korea seems to have taken a predictable twist.
From WaPo:
The latest warning, delivered by former North Korean nuclear negotiator Kim Gye Gwan on Wednesday, fits Pyongyang’s well-established pattern of raising the stakes in negotiations by threatening to walk out if it doesn’t get its way.

This comes just hours after the North Korean regime cast doubt on the planned summit by protesting joint air force drills taking place in South Korea, saying they were ruining the diplomatic mood.

Bolton, known for his sharply hawkish views, has said that North Korea must commit to a disarmament similar to “Libya 2004.” He was undersecretary of state for arms control in 2004, when Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi agreed to give up its nuclear program in return for sanctions relief.

But this is not a tempting model for North Korea. Seven years after surrendering his nuclear program, Gaddafi was overthrown, then brutally killed by opponents of his regime.
Who could have seen that coming?

A: Everyone who has dealt with the regime.

In the meantime, we have a breaking story.
Committee Democrats circulated some excerpts from the testimony in advance of their formal release at 9 a.m.

The excerpted testimony shows that attendees at the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower meeting largely agreed with Trump Jr.’s long-standing contention that the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, did not transmit dirt about Clinton. She has denied she was acting on behalf of the Russian government.

But the new information helps explain why Goldstone had written the candidate’s son before the meeting that Veselnitskaya would bring “very high level and sensitive information” that was part of “Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump” — and why Trump Jr. responded, “if it is what you say, then I love it.”

The excerpts also shed light on the anxiety that rippled through President Trump’s orbit a year later, as news of the meeting became public and his aides and lawyers tried to manage the story.

There's an "article" from the Daily Mail going around about Qatari & Kuwaiti officials meeting with Cohen to pass along millions of bucks to the .

Personally I plan to wait for a more reliable & reputable source than that rag. But I won't be surprised when it gets confirmed.

There is a lot of smoke to this story.

The clandestine meeting with Trump’s transition team happened only five days after Qatar began closing on the purchase of a portion of a massive state-run Russian oil company and just so happened to have been held on the same day that Russian Ambassador Kislyak was snuck into Trump Tower undetected.

By Tuesday, a spokesperson for the company acknowledged to CNN that Al-Rumaihi had attended a meeting at Trump Tower on that date.

“Mr. Al-Rumaihi was at Trump Tower on December 12, 2016. He was there in his then role as head of Qatar Investments, an internal division of QIA, to accompany the Qatari delegation that was meeting with Trump transition officials on that date,” the spokesperson for Sports Trinity told CNN. “He did not participate in any meetings with Michael Flynn, and his involvement in the meetings on that date was limited.”

I hope they repost this Schiff interview on the show right now, I think the congressman just gave information that is now not classifiewd.

During the Trump Tower meeting there was a blocked call to Trump Jr. They think it was Dolt.

It's all being confirmed.

The Trump Organization fed a prepared statement to a publicist for Russians involved in the notorious 2016 meeting at Trump Tower on what to tell the press about what was discussed, it emerged on Wednesday.

An attorney for the Trump family’s company urged the publicist in an email to endorse Donald Trump Jr’s version of events on the meeting and said it “would be our preference” if he did not say anything else in response to inquiries.

The attorney, Alan Futerfas, also directly contacted two Russians involved in the meeting shortly before its existence was made public in the media, according to copies of emails released by Congress.

Another email showed the incoming White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci told the same publicist, Rob Goldstone, it was important that “we remain consistent and united” in the face of public pressure about the meeting.

Scaramucci's email to Goldstone came in late July 2017, after Trump appointed him to the senior White House role. Weeks earlier, reports broke about the Trump Tower meeting and Goldstone's role in helping arrange it.

"I don't officially start until the 15th Rob. But I just wanted to drop you a line to say if you ever need to pick my brains then my door is always open," Scaramucci wrote in an email dated July 23, 2017. The email was included in thousands of pages of documents released Wednesday morning by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

"Obviously there is still pressure on all sides, but if we remain consistent and united I don't envisage any issues we can't ride out," Scaramucci also wrote.

You know what amazes me?

This testimony. from the Senate, and including the testimony from the house -- these people KNEW how DJTJr was a part of all of this. THEY KNEW!

I am pretty pissed about all of this. We have definitive confirmation on so much mre now than we did before.
