Monday mania

We had a busy weekend moving appliances, doing yard work and the starting the painting of the new home.

Fortunately, there aren't to many renovations that have to be done. Having said that, I am a little overwhelmed catching up with the insanity at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

How was your weekend?

Kevin McCarthy clearly has no clue how to Twitter.

Trisec is rather pensive today.

I attended the funeral mass for a co-workers wife this morning. She died suddenly and horribly late last week. (Undiagnosed Big C - too late.)

It was a Roman Catholic rite, very ironic to me today after my posting on the book of face earlier. Sitting in the pew, I was pondering that the only time I go to a Catholic Church now is when I have to - and it's been for funeral rites exclusively. The last time was over a year ago for my mother's own memorial.

I'm afraid I'm starting to associate the Catholic Church with death and suffering now, which actually isn't that far off the mark.
