It's 9 am and another morning got away from me.

If you know anyone in the storm's path, please make sure they are ok. This one looks to be a really bad situation.

Still trying to get some normalcy back in real life here in the new place.

if only we could do the same for the occupants of the White House.

and
Raine

Mornin' all!

Primary Day here in RI was a little different this year. There's no more lines by the first letter of your last name, no paper voter register anymore - only a set of iPads with a barcode scanner attachment which is designed for valid forms of Voter ID (yes, our little state has that ridiculous law). And then you sign it with a stylus.

The ballots themselves are still cardstock paper marked with a normal pen & read by an electronic tabulator that has a receipt printout.

As for who I voted for? For Governor... well let's just say that DESPITE receiving EIGHT giant mailers yesterday from the same candidate PAC saying the same disproven BS about one of the other candidates, I sure as hell didn't vote for the candidate that sent them!

I did vote for David Cicilline & Sheldon Whitehouse tho. Both have been exemplary during their time in Congress.

Morning

The storms gonna a little left more toward SC now, I remember being in Wilmington with Hugo hit Myrtle Beach. Even that far away we got hit hard, but about 2 weeks after a friend and I went down to MB to see it first hand. Its a wonder anything was still standing.

You guys done with the old place now or still working on it?

I love the paper and scanners. I was so happy when McCauliffe made them used statewide in Virginia.

I hate when I am not able to get to bed at night when I have to get up early in the morning. Body has gotten to use to an evening schedule.

Just finished updating my race tracking spreadsheet. Biggest change is there's now a tab for the Senate races.

Best Chance Dem Flips (2): Arizona, Nevada
Tsunami-Level Potential Dem Flips (2): Texas, Tennessee
Extra Special Long Shot Dem Flips (2): Nebraska, Mississippi

Best Chance GOP Flips (4): Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana
Tsunami-Level Potential GOP Flips (2): North Dakota, West Virginia
Extra Special Long Shot GOP Flips (1): Wisconsin

There are some stories out that Laura Ingrahm's brother has been calling her a monster for her racist and homophobic views. Says their father was a Nazi supporter in Poland during WWII.
