Unless you've been under a rock, you know that tRumpy tweeted this on Sunday:

It's pretty clear that it was aimed at four freshman Democratic women of color who have been outspoken in their contempt for mein Führer the racist-in-chief. It was either his stupidity or racism (likely both) that caused him to not realize (or care) that 3 of the 4 women he attacked are U.S.-born citizens. The one immigrant came here at the age of 9. They are all quite accomplished:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the youngest is 29 years old. She was born in The Bronx, NYC to Puerto Rican parents (a U.S. territory since 1917, which tRumpy still doesn't seem to understand makes them U.S. citizens). She attended Boston University, and graduated cum laude, with a degree in international relations and economics.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) is 45 years old. She was born in Cincinnati, OH to American parents. Despite being poor, she excelled in high school, and was the commencement speaker for her high school class. She attended Boston University. She later worked with Joe Kennedy II and John Kerry before running for office herself.

Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is 42 years old. She was born in Detroit, MI to Palestinian immigrant parents. She earned a law degree from Western Michigan U. She worked for a state house politician, then was elected to his seat when he termed out. She got re-elected twice. After losing the 4th time she ran, she worked for a non-profit before running for the U.S. House.

Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is 36 years old. She was born in Somalia. Fleeing violence, she lived in a refugee camp from ages 5 to 9, then moved to the US with her parents. She became a naturalized citizen at age 17. After high school (where she was taunted for wearing a hijab), she attended U of Minn, and graduated with majors in political science and international studies. After college, she worked as a campaign manager on 2 separate occasions for 2 different candidates. She was elected to the Minnesota state House in 2016, served two years, then ran for the U.S. House (and won, obviously).

Meanwhile - let's look at tRumpy's history. He's 73 years old. He was born in Queens, NYC to a first-generation father and immigrant mother (his grandfather was an immigrant). After daddy's money got him into a military academy, he spent 2 years at Fordham, then a friend of the family got him into the Wharton School. He got 5 draft deferrments, then permanently became 4F. He ended up graduating with an economics degree, and worked in the private sector for decades, with a terrible record both professionally and personally.

Since he's always railing against immigrants, it's fair to point out that two of his 3 wifes have been immigrants. Melania - his 3rd wife - moved to the US from Slovenia in 1996 (age 26). She worked in the U.S. illegally for 7 weeks before getting a work permit. tRumpy and Melania met and started dating when she was 28. She did a nude photo shoot (age 30) after they had been dating for 2 years. She was granted an EB-1 visa the year (age 31) after her second nude photo shoot, and 3 years after starting to "date" tRump. They got engaged when she was 34, and married the next year.

The differences between the occupants of the White House and "the Squad" (as the 4 women are called) are striking. I'd say this was the pot calling the kettle black, but it's more like the toilet calling the polished silver stinky. Patriotism is loving your country enough to call out what think is going wrong. That's what these 4 talented, smart, experienced women do. Supporting your president right or wrong is NOT patriotism - it's dangerous.
