This is really bad, they say.

The Biden administration is really bad at one thing, so far.

They are bad at creating controversy, and I like it.

The media however seems hellbent on making it look otherwise. The 'crisis' at the border, his Rolex, his travel to his home in Delaware (on Presidential aircraft), Addressing the Press, Covid Relief are just a few among a list of overall problems the press and media want to make hay of it. Don't get me wrong, the issues should be covered and reported on (well, not the damn Rolex) but, it really needs better contextualization.

It hasn't been 100 days, and to be honest, his administration isn't going to unf*ck all the damage and destruction that was done in the past 4 years. I just want a break from all the chaos and controversy, not to mention white supremacy from TFG's White House occupation.

Sometimes it ok to have boring be the mood of the day. It helps to manage the daily panic and stress I experienced from 2017 to 2021.

and

Raine

Well, George Takei said it on Twitter a couple of weekends back.

"Dear President Biden - thank you for a slow news day!!"

Breathless controversy and "breaking news" keeps the eyeballs on the TV. Ratings matter more to the news channels than being fair.

After laying in wait over the last year, a brief diversionary assault on Mt. Cookie has been planned for Easter.

With the relaxation of travel restrictions (As well as everyone except ME being vaccinated) - Javi is coming home for Easter Weekend!!

Last year, I did not make this. It was the first Easter of my entire life without one. That will be corrected this year. I've also got Pizzeles and "banana cookies" on tap. (You may call them biscotti - Brother Trisec and I have called them by this name since we were small, since we thought they looked like bananas.)

Not sure what Easter Dinner will be, but I'm leaning towards roasting a beef.

And the ratings for all the news channels are down since the election. Even NewsMax has gone back to its old numbers with the highest show getting only 272,000 viewers.
