What else has to happen?
Author: Raine    Date: 05/20/2021 13:03:17

Congressman Tim Ryan represents the 13th District of Ohio. He previously was a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate.

I personally believed he had no business running and was glad he dropped out of the race. I have one main reason, but it's sometimes good to let bygones be bygones.

He's a good man, and he's a fine representative. Now he's running for the Senate seat being vacated by Republican Senator Rob Portman. I want him to succeed. Yesterday the House was debating the creation of the January 6 insurrection commission. It was hotly debated. Mr. Ryan took the floor and had words.

I want a person who will fight for and in congress like this:

"What else has to happen to this country?" The very fact that this question has to be asked tells me that we are in a lot more danger than the general public wishes to acknowledge.

Thoughts and prayers are not enough.

Raine

There should have been more speeches like that.

I like him too, hope he gets that Senate seat.

Mornin' all..

I was just reading a LTE in the LA Times comparing TFG to historic American traitors like Benedict Arnold and Jefferson Davis.

Davis I can mostly agree on. However Benedict Arnold is NOWHERE NEAR either him or TFG. Arnold was a sometimes brilliant and always troubled man whose balls and bravery against the British during the early years of the American Revolution were unmatched, and because of his temper and self-aggrandizement it was often overlooked. That inferiority complex and a regular series of perceived slights by General George Washington and others, along with bad financial troubles and a father-in-law who was a British loyalist, led him to betray the Continental Army.

Donald Trump has NEVER EVER had a sense of bravery, He's never had a sense of loyalty to anyone but himself and money. He sold our country out from the start - fucking over his workers, his contractors, state & local governments. He took money from anyone who would lend it to him, from Deutche Bank to the NYC mafia to the Russian mafia, and blew it all.

Cohen is thinking that TFG will be indicted by summer time. Fingers crossed.

Amen to all of this, Scoop!

It's not amazing that someone said this about THG, but it coming from Obama is really quite something.
According to The Guardian, the book says that in conversations with donors and political advisors, Obama called Trump a "corrupt motherf---er," a "madman," a "racist, sexist pig," and a "f---ing lunatic."
