I hope you all are enjoying a well-deserved day off. Well, not all of you.
I hope Tri is enjoying a day driving around his city of Boston, informing visitors and making a lot of tips, and doing the thing he loves.
As we ease into a new normal, I find I appreciate things in a different way. This afternoon we are having a small gathering of friends that we haven't been able to spend time with. Nothing big, nothing fancy, and for no other reason than to enjoy each other's company.
There will be wine, beer, Fromage & Charcuterie with fruits and savory sides. We have the pool we set up last year due to lockdown. This year we have it because it is just nice to cool off.
I am grateful for all of these things and more. I prefer to look at this holiday and appreciate the things we have and things we still must achieve.

Good morning, bloggers!!!!
It has been a busy weekend. On Friday, I helped my Mom and sister prepare for their move from 8:45 AM to 8:00 PM.
On Saturday, I drove to South Bend to run a session of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Then, I went to the Munster, IN fireworks where my synagogue had a great view of the festival.
Yesterday, I visited some friends, we had deep dish pizza, and watched the fireworks.

I am watching both the Dodgers and the Cardinals right now.
Cards are playing the Giants - a team I generally don't watch. But I did check to see if Yaz was playing tonight. Grandson of Carl; my all-time favourite player. (He's not in the lineup.)
