It's not time.

It's not time to give up. It's not time to walk away.
It is time to be pissed at those people on our side who are not abiding by what the majority of Americans want. It is time to help get out the vote in New Jersey and Virginia next week and then to focus on increasing the Democratic Party's majority in the House and the Senate next year.
The alternative is bleak. It's hard to fathom, but they have become the nightmarish opposition party that we were taught in history class when we were younger. Hell, we can look what happened in our adult lives from President Carter and the Camp David accords up until these past five years. Democracies have died -- ours may as well if we don't stand up for it.

TriSec is feeling his oats today. Finally went back and posted those thermonuclear reviews of the most miserable company I have ever worked for. (Glassdoor, Indeed) It felt really good seeing it in print this morning. Hopefully nobody else ever makes the mistake of working there.

I fear that we cannot have common ground with those who live in an alternate reality. We are divided with most in the nation supporting our system of government, and a minority pledging allegiance not to the Constitution but to a man and a party. Heaven help us all.
