The failed Presidency of Barack Obama
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 01/11/2009 14:45:14

Yes dear readers, I’ve said it. Barack Obama is a “miserable failure”. Elected way back in November of ’08 (I bet you can’t even remember what you had for breakfast on Nov. 4) his Presidency began to spiral out of control. We have the “Obama Recession” that is going to soon be the “Obama Depression” and of course we have political corruption on a scale we have not seen since, well, Bill Clinton!

We’ve heard Rush Limpbaugh speak of it on his radio show:

The Obama recession is in full swing, ladies and gentlemen. Stocks are dying, which is a precursor of things to come. This is an Obama recession. Might turn into a depression. He hasn't even passed anything yet. The truth about this is, the markets work six to nine months ahead. Everybody in the market is trying to figure out where we're going to be six to nine months ahead. They're selling and they're getting out. That 4,000-point drop, that was also due to Obama.

And this was only on Nov. 6.

I might add this caveat though, this is a man who has to compare the stock market to coaching football – I suppose so his listeners will have some sort of reference.

From the same show:

And guess what we learned today? Vladimir Putin wants to return as the president of Russia. Now, let me give you this in a football analogy. Putin returning to power is like a successful head coach coming out of retirement after learning the schedule for the next four years will be a cakewalk. Imagine Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Vladimir Putin now becomes Chuck Noll, who has been retired from the Steelers for a long time. Chuck Noll learns that his team will have a series of all home games for the next four years, and the teams he's going to play are the Detroit Lions, the Oakland Raiders, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He's going to be playing the patsies in the league. They talk about putting missiles in Europe yesterday aimed at Poland. Now today the KGB comes back, Putin wants power. This stuff is not coincidental, ladies and gentlemen. I actually think the Obama campaign likes this economic chaos, just as they did during the campaign. The more economic chaos there is the greater opportunity for expanded government.

We have heard similar stuff from all those other rich white guys including Hannity, O’Reilly Savage and Coulter. That Obama has not done anything, that political corruption in Chicago, in the State of Illinois, in Baltimore, is all his fault.

Headlines often scream it out: (from AOL news, Jan 4, 2009)
Obama's First Corruption Casualty - Bill Richardson

His first? That is a testament to how bad the Obama Presidency is!

Right-wing and MSM are quickly jumping on the corruption charges leveled at Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon, not only is she a DEMOCRAT they remind us, she was also HUGE OBAMA SUPPORTER. Her picture revels that she is also……… black. Black people are often corrupt. Thuggish. You know …… need I say more.

Meanwhile, the wonderful 8 years of George W. Bush is currently being presented by right-wing and many mainstream press (i.e. ABC, WaPo,) as not quite perfect bliss, but darn close to it! As I’m sure you’re all aware, we have not had a terrorist attack on our soil since….. well, who can remember! It’s been so long! (We won’t count those attacks on our friends and allies). And, don’t forget, we got into Iraq based on flawed intel, flawed intel, flawed intel, flawed intel (keep repeating into a chant).

Poor GW Bush, his only real crime, if you could call it that, was being too trusting and compassionate.

So, to sum up: Obama has been a dreadful failure and Bush has been a great man of conscience who has a human fallible or two.

Did I mention that we haven’t had Obamas swearing-in ceremony yet?

The Velveeten eye for satire is wonder to behold.

And Velveeta strikes again. Watch out, you could be recruited as a right-wing talk show host.

Today one of the kittens goes to its new home. <--- for me <--- for Jerrie. She is going to a great home. Dogs and cats and even Goats. Yes, Goats!

Comment by livingonli on 01/11/2009 20:15:08
That sounds sweet. The kitten should make lots of friends.

Time for me to head off to the salt mine. I will have to listen to the rest of the game on the radio.

I would like to remind the Giants of these things they call TOUCHDOWNS.

They kinda help win games...

Comment by Raine on 01/11/2009 20:48:14
*sigh*

They didn't get that down.

I do recall saying that concern should be made about Philly...

i remember you saying something about that. It seems like they fell into the crap that cost them games in December. Not a good time to blow it. It looks like they were better when they were hungry last year and going in as a wild card.

Then again this year, it seems like the lower ranking teams are largely doing better in the playoffs.

Sorry about the Giants, Raine.

Thanks guys. It's all good. Either Arizona or the eagle are going to the Superbowl.

I am an NFC girl.. but there is a soft spot for the Steelers....

I may be cheering on the AFC this year.

I said Iggles, not Eagles. Big difference.

Wouldn't it be wild if it was Pittsburg and the Philly in the Super Bowl?
