They'll do Anything

Everything they do, literally everything, is to cause pain and suffering, and then they blame it on their perceived enemy.

That statement applies to Putin and his oligarchs too.

That's the modern-day Republican party. It was bad 20-30 years ago when they had something the public could agree on. A lot of people liked the idea of fiscal conservatism, for example. They liked the idea of personal freedom, whatever that is. As I have stated many times before, they had policies. I just didn't agree with them.

Now? Now they only want to spread lies and propaganda, pretending to believe in the things they once espoused. They stand for nothing but raw greed and power and wilt away truth and ethics. They have nothing except lies, cheating, stealing, and disinforming.

Then, inevitably when things go south, they blame liberalism for the county's ills. They only want to defeat us because they only want us out of the way. We are not the opposition to them; we are the enemy.

They are far more aligned with Putin and his belief in autocracy than democracy. Just another chapter in the dictator's playbook, as it goes.

Maybe one day, once the mess is cleaned up (again) by the Dems, we can change the locks and keep the fascists away from our democracy forever.

Good morning, bloggers!!!!

Raine, I fear that the GOP will not change. It is all about being courtiers to their lords --- their financial backers.

As I write this. I see a country that has become deeply divided. I disagree with the GOP but I do not see them as enemies whose legal rights should be denied. I cannot say the same of many in the GOP in regards to myself.

In some good news, I have a few letters of reference coming in soon. I am already finding good positions for next year.

Also, I have a few more days of spring break.

BobR, you might be amused to know that I ran a character creation session for an RPG at a brewery in Glendale. While I seldom drink, I did have a very good ale there.

Hi all!

TriSec is alive - it's been a wild week.

Nothing bad has happened, we're all fine here. Let's just say that we're back to as normal as we can be in the city of Boston. I had Sunday and Monday off earlier this week, for the first time in over a year. That completely threw my calendar, and then I've been running ragged for Woodbadge and the Masons all week as well.

I'm off tomorrow - time for a deep breath. I sure hope everything will be calmer after Easter. But it's Marathon Monday and school vacation week, so I doubt that.
