This week we learned that Former President James madison had a flute. That flute has been stored at the library of congress for over 200 years. It isn't just a regular flute, it is made of crystal. The flute is one of 1,700 in the Library's collection.
We learned about it because Lizzo played it in the beautiful building we call the Library of Congress and later at her concert in DC.

It was good to hear that flute. I think that it indeed shows that history is freaking amazing. Also, I do not think many, if any, African Americans living during the lifetime of James Madison would imagine that a free descendant of theirs would play a president's flute.
