While it's still cold, is anyone planning any summer excursions that might bring you near a quirky roadside attraction?
Don't think that I'm not tempted by Dinosaurland up near the Shenandoah. Its only 75 miles from DC!

My excursion last year was planned when I drove to New Orleans for my nephew’s wedding. Unless they’re planning another Sunrise Drive on Mt Washington, I’m probably gonna stay close by. I don’t want to leave Sophie alone the way she is now.
My mother has not been doing to well lately, been in and out between the hospital and rehab since before Chrismas and since she’s taken a bad turn, she’ll be going home today to hospice care. I’m very fortunate that i was able to take the week off to take turns being with her.
