As I try to awaken, I am reminded that the GOP-controlled house is just a damned mess. I will post more about this in the blog today.

I fear that the GOP-controlled House of Representatives will not do much to benefit most Americans. In the end, it seems that the GOP leadership has three primary concerns: shoring up the position of their financial backers, rallying the base, and ensuring that the GOP wins in 2024 - or at least maintains what it has now.
