I am not clear on when we're supposed to be opening the Blogger Joe gifts. We have the dogs' yearly checkups this morning (from 9:30 - 10:30 EST), but we can be available after that.
Beyond that, it's been quiet and relaxed here at Casa de BRaine, with a lot of food, drink, sweets, and TV. This was much needed, even if I am doing another house project. However, because of all this, I've been mostly out of touch with political and world events.
Sometimes we need a break from work, sometimes from the chaos of the world, and sometimes both. For us, it's the last of these.
I hope all you dear readers are getting a break too.
I'm contemplating going off the grid as a New Years' resolution. Enough of this shit.

Morning all!
Think I lost track a bit myself.
Running out this morning as well then have a PT appt this afternoon - why don't we all go ahead and open when we can then post here? Sorry about the confusion this year guys.

You're welcome! Thought it would be appropriate for a composer.

I forgot how easy it is to double post here. *g*
Tri - the prints are just lovely. Thank you so much! You have wonderful taste in artwork. And thanks for the background on each of the views.
I was in Boston, around the end of 2004 (just as AAR was getting started, as I recall), and got to see some of your beautiful city over a long weekend.
Hopefully, I'll get back there again someday. If you get to Pittsburgh, I can show you around - including the county courthouse. You'd probably also appreciate the blockhouse and Fort Ligonier - about an hour away.
Let us hope that the new year 2024 will be better than 2023.

Late to the party now, as TriSec always is!
A temperature-sensitive climate change coffee mug, showing the changes in the coastline with rising seas.
Absolutely appropriate here in my coastal city - I've already seen some of the effects with my own eyes where I work. (Right on Boston Harbor - 20 feet above mean high tide on a normal day. Storm tides and astronomical high tides are already affecting this city.)

And in other news, I have talked to HR and some managers at Yankee Bus.
Now I see that they have far better benefits than OTT - light years ahead, as a matter of fact.
I find that my intrinsic loyalty to my conductors is what is making this a hard decision on my behalf. "Your Loyal TriSec", don't forget.
But I have some clarification now. And a slowly changing mindset in me that might be worth a muse over the weekend.

Thank you Raine - definitely going to get my crafting on in 2024 girly!
