As we all know, yesterday was Super Tuesday. Primaries were held in 23 states, plus Guam. While there was a glimmer of hope that Nikki Haley could pull out some wins to keep it interesting on the Republican side, the only state she won was Vermont, and that was likely due to crossover voters.

Results Here.

It appears that the tRump cultists were inspired to vote, while Never-Trumpers were less driven to show up. It could also be a general Republican mindset where they think tRump has a better chance of beating Biden than Haley does (despite evidence to the contrary from 2020).

Because of her poor showing, and essentially no path to the nomination, Haley has decided to suspend her campaign. Besides the unappetizing prospect of having to listen to the bloated orange sack for another 8 months, he will likely be impossible today, crowing about how everybody loves him, blah, blah, blah.

Ultimately, despite hopes to the contrary, this will indeed be a replay of the 2020 election. We can only hope that the end result is as good (or better) than 2020. Otherwise, our country will truly be on the brink of failing.

Getting the vote out in November has never been so crucial.

had Haley gone after TFG Right from the start, I think she would still be viable.

And TFG is really underperforming, and he's not expanding his loathsome base.

Good morning, bloggers!!!!

I think that we have to be very active in getting out the vote. The question is how do we approach our political adversaries.

I have to wonder if the advice in this article is right: Rachel Bitecofer's tough love lesson for Democrats: Time to fight dirty. Too often, it seems that we have Democrats who are trying to be nice to people who view civility as a weakness. (My single biggest criticism of Barack Obama is that he did not understand how vicious his opponents were.)

It will be a long road until November 5th. If, as I hope, Biden wins, TFG and his supporters can be expected to cry fraud and may take action as they did on January 6, 2021.
