It's falling apart

I subscribe to Dan Rather's newsletter, and yesterday he had an interesting analysis of the House GOP.
While it's not exactly hard to conclude that the House GOP is in trouble, it's exactly what kind of trouble it is. Their trouble is not good trouble: Honestly, at this rate, we may have a Democrat as Speaker of the House BEFORE November.
Republicans have 219 seats. Democrats have 213. There are three vacancies.
“I think it’s the next three people that leave that they’re going to be worried about.”
The thing that makes me sad is that it's the American people who are being hurt by this chaos.

While it's not exactly hard to conclude that the House GOP is in trouble, it's exactly what kind of trouble it is. Their trouble is not good trouble:
Buck’s unexpected resignation has implications in Congress as well as for Republicans in Colorado. House Republicans’ razor-thin margin is now down to two, and Buck hinted to Axios what might be even bigger news: More resignations could be coming.
“I think it’s the next three people that leave that they’re going to be worried about.”
Does Buck know something that we don’t, or is he speculating? A special election in a very blue district in New York in April could shrink the GOP majority even more.
As of today, Speaker Mike Johnson is two bad colds away from having to reach across the aisle to get anything done, such as keeping the government open and functioning. A vote on funding 70% of the federal government is just days away.

A guy goes into a bar, there's a robot bartender. The robot says, "What will you have?"
The guy says, "Martini."

Good morning, bloggers!!!!
I think that the GOP is likely to see more people leave Congress.. Anyone who is not completely aboard with the MAGA agenda must feel out of place in that party.
