Good morning fellow internets users. What a great day to read up on the news, catch up on opinions via blogs and message boards, check in with our friends near and far on social networking sites, pay our bills with online banking and write that overdue email to Grandma.

Here's something that I'd probably never see squished into the nether pages of my New York Times, but found it while scrolling the Huffington Post. Seems that people really are born Gay! Who knew?

A prenatal pill for congenital adrenal hyperplasia to prevent ambiguous genitalia may reduce the chance that a female with the disorder will be gay. Critics call it engineering for sexual orientation.

Each year in the United States, perhaps a few dozen pregnant women learn they are carrying a fetus at risk for a rare disorder known as congenital adrenal hyperplasia. The condition causes an accumulation of male hormones and can, in females, lead to genitals so masculinized that it can be difficult at birth to determine the baby's gender.

A hormonal treatment to prevent ambiguous genitalia can now be offered to women who may be carrying such infants. It's not without health risks, but to its critics those are of small consequence compared with this notable side effect: The treatment might reduce the likelihood that a female with the condition will be homosexual. Further, it seems to increase the chances that she will have what are considered more feminine behavioral traits.

So, I've been thinking. What happens when it ALL GOES ...............AWAY....... off into .......... space.............. never seen............... again?

I refer of course, to Net Neutrality. And the fact that Google (who, with that typed word, is now following me) and Verizon have struck a deal to make the internet NOT FREE.

Yes, everything from News, opinion and Grandma's recipes to banking, shopping, cute baby videos and porn will all cost you money. (Well, perhaps there are some things I won't miss... I'm sick of the cute babies).

I believe this was planned long ago. In my lifetime it started under Reagan as far as I can recall. First the internet weakens our communication structure that was already in place. Who needs a landline? Subscribe to the Newspaper? What a waste of trees! Ditto those magazines that used to grace our mailbox. Speaking of mail, the US Postal Service is about to go bankrupt - thanks to Hotmail and Facebook et al. Heck even if you wanted to find someones address or phone number to write them snail mail or call their landline, you'd be hard pressed to find a phone book to look it up the info. Why, its so easy to just ...... Google it on your iPhone.

Soon, the only way to get music and movies will only be via online, as Music and Video stores begin to fail.

I see a future where you may have to pay to read this blog and the speed at which it loads will be set by your corporate internet provider. I see a future where class will be divided even further; where rich will have instant access to stocks and banking online, to phone numbers and to information and... and this is important.... ways to get the message out.

What will you do when the information is no longer free? When you can no longer hear the message?

Will someone call my landline? Mail me a letter? Print me a newspaper? Please do, because I've grown to accustom to having it at my fingertips, but I refuse to pay per view!

Though, I won't miss the pop-up ads.
