The Republican wing of the Tea Party recently had a little to-do over in Washington D.C. Seems that despite their utter hatred of everything BIG and GOVERNMENTAL, they still can't find their way out of the beltway.

CPAC stands for Conservative People Against Community, I think. I may have to double check that. But if you were to look at some of the straw poll votes, you'd have to believe that is basically what they want.

For instance, the group was asked "Which of the following issues is MOST, and SECOND
MOST IMPORTANT to you personally?" and by an overwhelming percent they chose (can you guess?) "Reducing size of Federal Government" by 53%.

What came in second, you ask? Was it "stop those evil Libs from killing babies"? Or perhaps "tell Obama he can't have my guns" or even "stop the job-killing Obamacare program and it's death panels"? If you guessed "Reducing Government Spending" by 38% then you are much smarter than me!

Yes, those pesky things like "improving education", "the war in Iraq" and "reducing health care costs" are waaaaay down at the bottom at 6%, 3% and 3%.

So what all these white people really care about is getting Government out of the business of governing. "Personal Liberty" is at stake here people! Basically, "they" are taking "my" money and giving it away to other people for things like education, food, housing and medical care. Why, it's socialism I tells ya!

Opps, sorry, CPAC did have a {black} person in the form of one Herman Cain. I never heard of him. Seems he has a radio show in Georgia and was CEO of some Pizza company, that I've also never heard of.

Mr. Cain assured the gathering of white people that they are not racists. He also chimed in on whether our President is actually an American, without giving us any proof whatsoever of his own citizenship:
I have no idea. The fact that it has become an issue, or a controversy, does raise a question that I can't say that I feel one way or the other because I have not reviewed all the various "proof" one way or another.

The convention ended just as it did last year, with the hookers overworked and severely underpaid, and with Ron Paul winning the Straw Poll for 2012.
