Tit for Dat
Author: velveeta jones    Date: 07/07/2013 14:22:29

Velveeta is happy to be behind the keyboard again. After some minor flooding and some travel and some major work. Whew, it's been a hellava couple of weeks!

What's been happening? I hear there's this upstart in Texas who stood up and fought off some heinous bill. But, it must have been a very fair bill that was being debated, right? I mean it was put forth by republicans so of course it was all about republican things like freedom™, Liberty, God, Flags, and of course small Government.
Right?

Let's see, the bill in question would have made abortions illegals after 20 weeks and closed all but 5 clinics in the state of Texas. Well, that seems fair, Texas is relatively small, do they need more than five health clinics across the state?

Liberals claim that Wendy Davis is a feminist hero; but an anonymous blogger found out the real story about her. She is no feminist! This blogger is putting out the truth about the real Wendy. How can she be a feminist when she is way to attractive to be a feminist? (Think back to how Rush describes them and clearly you can see that this writer is correct). This intrepid blogger has dug up photographic proof that she has DYED HER HAIR! Yes, he looked at her college yearbook picture and cleverly compared it with her current Senate biography picture and keenly deduced that she used to be a brunette!

Now, before you faint, let me also tell you that our insightful blogger also believes that she has had....... plastic surgery. I'm sorry to inform you of this. Of course, if she had reconstructive surgery to improve her looks and she lost weight and she dyed her hair, well what more proof do you need that she is not a feminist?

Let this be a lesson chicks, if you want people to respect you as a feminist you must let yourself go. No hair dying or conditioning of any kind, no makeup, no shaving, and for God's sake no form fitting clothes. Also, you must hate men. This is a given.

But I digress. Not only did this anti-freedom bill pass in Texas, another Southern state picked up the ball and ran with it. Welcome, North Carolina to circle of "we hate women and freedom" movement.

The NC law, HB 695 is a case study in paradox of irony. Hidden within a measure to insure that NC is not somehow inexplicably plagued by Sharia Law is, well, Sharia Law.

More info on this here.

Now, you wouldn't really think that these things would go together. You know, trying to stop a ultra-religious ultra-restrictive law by having restrictive laws against one gender. But hey, NC is not very big on education either and that may have something to do with it. For republicans, freedom is only for those that agree with them.

According to the overly feminist organization NOW, there have been over 600 bills put forth by congress or states that would put regulations on women's bodies just in 2013 (so far). Guess how many bills for men's bodies? Did you guess 0? Did you also guess since the beginning of time? Then you are the smartest kid in class. That is right.

This just seems so unfair; how is it that we've excluded men for so long? I propose a bill that if you want Viagra (or the like) you must prove that your heart is strong enough to take it. Heart Stress Test every 3 months to ensure that you are healthy enough followed by an invasive ultra sound to ensure that you can still perform. Guess where the ultra sound wand goes?

Yup.
