Good morning.

According to the Twitter machine, there is a very good chance that Joe Biden may run for President.

I am not sure how this would work politically. Our current President has all but endorsed Secretary Clinton and she is really doing pretty well in the polls.

Bernie Sanders is still in the race, and by all accounts is enjoying a bit of a bump in many pols.

We have Martin O'Malley who, in my personal estimate is saying all the right things and putting out white papers that are far more progressive than anything I have seen in years when it comes to climate change and law enforcement reform — and yet few people want to pay attention.

That is because - by my estimate - so much oxygen in the room is being used by Clinton and Sanders.

Yes, there is Chafee, a former Republican and Webb, also a former Republican. However, he has the extra baggage of supporting the traitor flag of the south.

Joe Biden is a great man, and - to be very honest - I would definitely give him another look when it comes to my support. What I don't see or know is what will his niche be? I suppose (and this is not said flippantly), he could run on extending the policies of the Obama-Biden Administration. However, there is an awful lot of that in the Clinton proposals from what we have seen so far.

Sanders and Clinton supporters are truly planted in their candidates camp, so I don't see Biden peeling off enough support to hurt.

We'll see what happens if these rumors are true, I suppose.

In the meantime, while our party struggles from a wealth of riches to ponder, we have a thunderdome-style GOP debate coming up this week. The most horrifying thing is that one of the candidates will get the nomination.

Have a great Monday everyone!
