It's 44 days until president-elect Biden's inauguration. In 5 days, the electors will officially deliver their votes to make him the 46th president of the United States of America (or supposedly "united"). tRump has previously stated he will concede when the electors make it official (that would be this coming Monday). Of course - tRump is a fucking compulsive liar, so I'm not holding my breath on that.

In the meantime - insanity reigns. We're all familiar with tRump denying the evidence. We've been amused by the slow-motion trainwreck the Tootin' Rudy has been conducting. What I don't get is those who are still hitching their wagons to this failed Mandarin, some quite recently after it's clear to nearly everyone he lost lost lost.

In on of the most egregious abuses of the 10th amendment, the attorney general of TX, Ken Paxton (R - 'natcherly), is going straight to the SCOTUS with a specious case asking them to toss the results in 4 other states. Why?

How much gall does it take for one state to sue another because of how they enforced their own laws? How can TX claim to be an injured party? It's absurd. To add some "IOKIYAR" color to this, Paxton is under indictment for securities fraud (and has been fighting the charges since 2015). Some have suggested (including Livingonli from this blog) that he's only doing this in order to get a pardon from tRump. Part of me believes it, and another part of me believes it will work.

Rudy "Tooty" Ghouliani, meanwhile has seen his dumpster fire put on hold while laid up at Georgetown Medical Center in DC because he got the Covid. Somehow, he's managed to kiss his boss's ass while gasping for air, telling the world that this is a curable disease. Oh the irony if those were his last words. I am reminded of the death cart scene from "Monty Python's Holy Grail".

To make matters dumber, eternal ratfucker Roger Stone has claimed North Korean boats delivered ballots [for Biden] through Maine harbor. C'mon Roger - if you're going to try and help tRump sell this bullshit claim that the election was stolen, at least make it believable. Did the NK's come through the Panama Canal or the Suez Canal on their way here? Does he not realize a west coast port would make more sense? And isn't tRumpy buddies with Kim Young 'un?

It will be interesting to see what happens once the election is officially certified on Monday. Will tRump try to burn the place down on his way out the door? Will he slink off and sulk? Will he go into hiding offshore knowing there are criminal indictments stacked up, ready to be enacted on Jan 20th? Maybe some combination of the 3...

Regardless - the End of an Error is coming, and this monstrosity will soon be in our rear-view mirror.
