Propaganda

We've grown up listening to stories about Russian propaganda. We grew up with the Cold War. We also grew up with Republican propaganda.
And now, it seems there is little difference between the two. I don't know what else to say, the evidence is mountainous. What worse is that there are members of the conservative movement that are actually Fifth columnists.
Back in 1943, a Merry Melodies cartoon was released by Warner Brothers. Directed by riz Freleng, it depicts a group of mice who fight a war against the cat. One of those mice, we'll call him T. Karlson, wants the mice to appease the cat to stop his aggression. take a watch:
Increasingly, there is little light between the GOP and Puting, and it's been like that for decades. That's is what we are facing. Think it can't happen here? It already did, in the 1930's.

A fifth column is any group of people who undermine a larger group from within, usually in favor of an enemy group or nation. The activities of a fifth column can be overt or clandestine. Forces gathered in secret can mobilize openly to assist an external attack. This term is also extended to organised actions by military personnel. Clandestine fifth column activities can involve acts of sabotage, disinformation, or espionage executed within defense lines by secret sympathizers with an external force.
