You know, I swore I didn't want to write about this today. But two of the headlines from my preferred primary source are screaming at me that the military has an enormous problem.

I don't actually know which one is worse. So I'll start with the obvious; INSPIRED BY HITLER. I read the story, but I won't dignify it any further with a quote - you'll have to go there yourself. An actual domestic terrorist, inspired by the Unabomber, Islamic terrorists, and yes - Hitler, somehow joined the US Military and got security clearance. His lawyers are arguing for leniency in sentencing. Sorry, this fascist needs to be shot.

And the Texas shooter too - I'm seeing additional headlines about that from Dr. Maddow. Apparently he is also a Neo-Nazi, as well as being a failed soldier. The Army is tight-lipped about it, but he never completed basic training and washed out after three months for "designated physical or mental conditions", whatever that means.

But disturbingly - the shooter also embraced white supremacy and culture, despite being Latino himself. More than anything else, that highlights the power that the mind-control machine of the right wing has, that they can even convert what is normally a target of theirs into an ally and a soldier-drone.

America has truly become a debased society. Is it beyond saving? I'm afraid I have to start thinking yes, especially if Hitlerite vermin is now embraced by the military.
