Did it fall out of the sky?

Good Morning.
Putin's enemies certainly have a nasty habit of defenestrating themselves, don't they?
This one is different. A perfectly serviceable Embraer Legacy 600 inexplicably fell out of the sky northwest of Moscow this past Wednesday.
Conveniently enough, a mercenary that tried to overthrow Putin this year was on board, along with 9 others.
Look, old and decrepit airplanes, or those with questionable maintenance, fall out of the sky all the time. But the Legacy 600 is actually rather ironclad and of stellar reputation.
In fact, prior to this past Wednesday, only one prior incident involving an E-600 has occured. You may remember this one.
There is a photo of the damage to the E-600. There was some stabilator damage, and part of a wingtip was ripped off in the collision. Meanwhile, the Boeing 737 that it hit, disintegrated and fell into the jungle. The B737 Is only slightly bigger physically, but it is around 80,000 pounds heavier than the E-600.
Prigozhin's plane did not fall out of the sky, but a SAM would be too obvious. The flight originated in Moscow, and was on the way to Saint Petersburg. Kuzhenkino, where the flight crashed, is almost exactly halfway between those cities, in what appears to be a densely-wooded part of the country.
I would speculate that a timed device of some sort did it's work as planned.

Gol Transportes Aéreos Flight 1907 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Manaus, Brazil, to Brasília and Rio de Janeiro. On 29 September 2006, the Boeing 737-800 operating the flight collided with an Embraer Legacy 600 business jet over the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. The winglet-equipped wingtip of the Legacy sliced off about half of the 737's left wing, causing the 737 to break up in midair and crash into an area of dense jungle, killing all 154 passengers and crew. Despite sustaining serious damage to its left wing and tail, the Legacy landed with its seven occupants uninjured.
