Good afternoon.

A whirwind morning, out working at the Masonic HELP program again....alas, perhaps for the last time.

...harmony being the strength and support of all institutions, more especially this of ours.

I'm the new guy, so far be it for me to complain, but the Brother in charge of the entire affair really could stand some toning down. I've done the HELP a handful of times, and I have tangled with him each and every time. "I've been doing this fifteen years" is his constant reply to any criticism or suggestion. So I mostly kept out of the way and just did some grunt work moving hospital equipment around.

I have heard from other Brothers that he has actually driven away some good volunteers. One too many conflicts, and they simply stop coming. I felt today that I might not go back again.

In any case....let's talk REVOLUTION!

This evening, far from the safety of Colonial Boston, a select group of Dispatchers will be meeting in secrecy. Allegedly for some fellowship and a potluck...but the leader of the group has told me that it's more to make sure all of the team are in the same place, and are headed in the same direction. We have no conductor leadership right now, and we've decided as a group to become the "Acting Head Conductor". Chief among our concerns is the poor training methodology, the lack of any kind of support out on the sidewalk once a conducter is tour-certified, and the complete lack of any kind of liaison between the conductors and management. We've got many more issues, but those are the core three.

I have jokingly suggested we call ourselves "Conductors of Liberty" or perhaps the "Committee of Conductors". Look at your history. The tyranny of King George is growing, and it is now 1765. Whether or not there is a Trolley Masscre or not remains to be seen....

But as you may have heard, "We must all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."
