Good morning.
Ah, not a muse - just a delayed day.
It is peak Scouting season right now, so I've been out a number of weekends with my kitchen crew, the famed "Silver Beaver Cafe" of Spirit of Adventure Council.
Two weeks ago - 300 Scouts and Scouters fed. Yesterday, 70 candidates and staff for the Order of the Arrow. Next weekend, 1200 scouts at a camporee, and we're taking care of the 150 staff.
Ah, fun times.
Of course, it's Peak Masonic Season as well, and at this time of year we have something called "Official Visits", where the District Grand Master comes to visit all his lodges. As brethren, we are requested and required to attend as many as we are able, and since where my lodge in Saugus is where three districts intersect, we know lodges all throughout the region. Makes for a busy few weeks.
The Bentley Gestapo continues to ride my bus, looking for egregious errors on my behalf. I'm going out of my way to ensure they find what they want. When I knew they're aboard - I haven't driven the same way twice, and I have altered my driving style in order to turn in wildly different route timing. I am absolutely fucking with their metrics and data.
Do I expect repercussions?
Honestly, no. They are essentially powerless to stop me. And I continue to have my ace-in-the-hole with Yankee / Logan Express begging me to come back full time.
What's your takeaway, dear readers?
Don't piss off the TriSec.
