Good morning dear readers! Velveeta was all set to review Mark Sanfords love letters, but then Sarah Palin debuted a new performance art piece / political press conference. I was still intent on the Sanford letters because, I mean, that is some juicy good reading, but then I read this. Seems that Todd’s wife and mother of “Trig” is getting litigious according to “some sources”



So let me be clear, that we here at 4 Freedoms Blog do NOT want to get national attention by claiming that Sarah Palin may be under federal investigation for embezzlement or other criminal wrongdoing.

No, no, this is simply what blogger Shannyn Moore is claiming. But what does Shannyn know? Just ‘cause she lives in Alaska she thinks she can get lots of secret dirt and info? Well, I’ll have Shannon know that Velveeta cannot travel to the great North because cold is bad for her delicate, fair skin and winter clothing makes her look “blah”. Otherwise, I would be up there digging right alongside her, provided that that beastly territory has a Starbucks.

I have read Mrs. Palins press statement and she is quite clear in her reasons for resigning, as well Velveeta is truly inspired by her writing style which carries across her “down-hominess” personality! First, I was always taught that one should not over use exclamation points, but in her poignant and at times humorous statement to the press, she uses 18 of them! Color me inspired!!

I will also note that in her address, rather a tome, she is so friendly! Most politicians that might be under federal investigation and/or had sex trysts often begin with something somber and serious like: “My fellow Americans” or “Good morning ladies and gentlemen” or "I stand before you humbled", but Sarah is way to perky for this, so she begins with “Hi Alaska”. !

She then spells out in a simple and concise manner why “she” is resigning!



How is that not clear? Or this:



I am quite sure that our Troops are honored that they helped her with this momentous decision!!

She goes on to speak of her son, “Trig” who the press has needlessly mocked as well as those charming ubiquitous refrigerator magnets that have those cute folksy homilies. The magnet on Velveeta’s fridge says: “Poison control dial 911 or 800-222-1222”.

Well, I for one say that Ms Shannon Moore just does not “get” Sarah Palin!! How on Earth does she come up with “Sarah Palin is under federal investigation for embezzlement”? I mean if you read her entire statement it is very clear that Sarah is moving on ……. to a higher calling and her family and the Troops support her in this calling to have Alaska secede from the Union.



Let me give Shannon a sports analogy: It’s the bottom of the ninth, two outs and bases are loaded when our hero comes to bat. Her team is behind by 3. She stares down the pitcher who glares back at her as he nods to his catcher. The runners stand poised, ready to run at the sound of the ball hitting wood. The crowd becomes quiet, all eyes focused intently at home plate. Players hang along the fences holding their breath and it seems as if the entire game has become slow motion, every movement of the field is enhanced and intensified so that even the birds stop chirping. The pitcher winds up and throws a fast ball right down the center line. Our batter raises her shoulders and steps forward and ...........
