It's New Year's Eve, the last day of the year. It's just another day, but we humans like to tack significance to the calendar and clock, so it's kind of a dig deal. It's a time we look back at the previous 364 days, try to learn something from them, and plan to do better in the coming year.
Some people make resolutions. I generally avoid the gym the first 3 weeks of January as those "resolving to get in shape" try to undo their past bad behavior, and then eventually find reasons and excuses to stop going.
This year, with an unhinged dictator in the White House has been a disaster. I could count the ways, but
I'll let Dave Barry do that for me. His reviews have a way of making you laugh, and then think "oh yeah - THAT happened...".
