The situation in Israel is dire. After launching a brutal terrorist attack on Israeli civilians, Hamas has been served the consequences of its actions. Israel - never one to limit their retaliations to "an eye for an eye" - has steamrolled the Gaza Strip crushing everything in its path.
As is the case with ALL wars, the civilians (on both sides of the conflict) are the ones to suffer. It doesn't help that Hamas hides among the civilians, using them as human shields. Still, the complete lack of precision in Israel's blunt force trauma on the entire region is making the rest of world queasy. We all want to support the victims of terrorism, but not necessarily like this.
