Flipping the Script

Wow - what a difference a few weeks make. We went from President Biden being on the ropes because of a bad debate performance, to an energized base of engaged voters enthusiastically supporting the Harris/Walz ticket. We went from Don the Con to DonOLD. The Drumpf campaign went from being ready for a battle with Biden to "WTH do I do now?" Down-ticket Democrats were worried about their election chances with a less-than-energized voter bloc, and now it's former tRump voters drifting away. Republican congressmen and governors must be plotzing.
On top of not really getting any bump from the convention, the Marmalade Mandarin's campaign is just floundering, flopping and gasping for oxygen like a fish on the dock. None of his insults are sticking. His veep pick is an albatross (and a cross-dressing one at that). His public appearances are becoming increasingly erratic.
He's been reduced to going on Twitter for an "interview" with Elon Musk (who called it a "conversation"). That didn't help at ALL, as the ShitGibbon seemed to have a lisp the entire time (not just a momentary slip like saying "the United Shatesh"). That was after a long delay which Musk blamed on a DDOS attack, when it was apparently just a decimated Twitter server bank being overwhelmed with cultists tuning in.
The polls - which initially showed TFG with a slight lead have shifted dramatically (relatively speaking), with Harris having a 4 point lead in several key swing states:
She could even win Florida.
It's gotten even more intense with the addition of Tim Walz (D-MN) to the ticket. His "dad vibes" contrast sharply with Vance's "couch vibes". The MAGA-cultists simply do not like him. Whether it's his "stolen squalor" backstory, or his eyelashes that make it look like he wears eyeliner, he's been a drag on the ticket.
Speaking of "drag", a picture has been released of him in a blond wig and skirt from his college days. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't care at all, but the cultists do. Also, there's that BS "family values" nonsense that Republicans like to trot out, and... well - this is just hypocrisy from them.
I know of at least one person in West Virginia who voted for Donald von Shitzenpantz in 2020 who will be voting for RFK Jr this year. Remember when we were worried that he would drain voters from Biden? It turns out that people disgusted with Tangerine Palpatine but won't vote for a democrat will be tossing their votes to RFK Jr.
Looks like they're choosing the bear after all.
