We're you playing weather-woman last night and "dipping into the teens"??
I know, I know...

Well, the much-needed rain in New England has altered our outdoor plans. (The TriSecs have a propensity to melt in the rain.)
So, no farm, no grilling.
However, I have gone to "The Bible" and have selected Biftek Saute Bercy, with Champignons Sautes au Beurre....Steam Rice, and a lovely garden salad with home-grown tomatoes.
For our drinking selections this evening, our appetizer will be one or two olives in a funnel glass, covered with a delightful crystal sauce, and a Bronze Medal 2002 California Cabernet Sauvignon.
Domestic ice cream and sandwich cookies for dessert.

Well, we need the rain but it does suck out there. I know I was driving out in it for lunch with neo-con brother. Thank goodness, the sister-in-law was there to stifle the political debate.

Regarding yesterday's blog...I cross-posted to UNN and submitted it to the Boston Globe.

Hello, bloggers!
A fairly quiet day here. My allergies are going nuts as the pollen count is high -- and someone in the neighborhood has let weeds go wild in their yard.
