SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!! Author: velveeta jonesDate:02/27/2011 15:45:58
Okay, MY super bowl.....
Tonight, for at least one night we can leave our worries - just for a moment - about all the craziness in the world and be entertained. That doesn't mean we won't be praying for all those who struggle for freedom in places like Libya and Egypt, or those digging out from devastation in New Zealand, or, our own here in America that are fighting tooth and nail for womens rights, workers rights, human rights.
Tonight we may pause, but we never stop fighting.
Let's have a look back at some of the past Oscar opening numbers. This is good to look at when some of today's morning shows get you too worked up. Scott Walker will be on MTP, and I don't want you throwing things at your TV. 2009 Opening with Hugh Jackman featuring a cameo by tonights host Anne Hathaway:
And today I am doing another marathon shift at work so I won't be watching. Ranger game this afternoon followed by Knicks down in Miami to take on the Heat (and most likely lose) tonight.

Sorry some of the links make you go to the youtubes to watch, but I opt for better video than convenience.

We've been out all day looking at houses (well - neighborhoods, mostly). We'll definitely need to do more research, and try again in a few weeks.

Good evening everyone, I am very happy to report that they found and recovered The Doctors Body at about 4:30 this afternoon. HE was still in the cockpit, and they were able to pull it from the water.
;( Still very sad, but At least they have a body.

Raine, my sympathies on the loss of Dr. Faraldi. From what I read on yesterday's blog, he sounds like a remarkable friend and member of his community. May his memory be for a blessing.

Thanks Will. My sisters spent the day contacting his patients, informing them that until further notice, they cannot reschedule any appointments. From what I understand , for the time being, they cannot by law close the office.
For at least 2 months, My sister will be going into work to take care of closing down, it seems -- the practice.

So, Velveeta, what do you think so far? I am rather enjoying the Oscars tonite. Ann HAthaway is a silly girl, who I just enjoy.
