It doesn’t make us weaker when we guarantee basic security for the elderly or the sick or those who are actively looking for work. What makes us weaker is when fewer and fewer people can afford to buy the goods and services our businesses sell, or when entrepreneurs don’t have the financial security to take a chance and start a new business. What drags down our entire economy is when there’s an ever-widening chasm between the ultra-rich and everybody else.

I am sorry for my lack of writing this week. It's not easy to get all typing and stuff with my niece trying to sleep dow here in the basement.
Seriously, the Presidents speech was amazing, and I ended up reading pretty much the whole thing.
Today the niece wants to go to the Museum of Natural History and then shopping for a new backpack. Maybe we'll head over to Georgetown -- seems as tho she is hankering for some of those cupcakes she saw on some tv show. I hope she can find the place, cause aside from Georgetown Cupcakes I don;t know what she is talking about.
Yesterday we went to Old Town and then hung out around the house.
Seriously, the Presidents speech was amazing, and I ended up reading pretty much the whole thing.

Maybe we'll head over to Georgetown -- seems as tho she is hankering for some of those cupcakes she saw on some tv show. Sadly, the Trayvon Martin case it partisan -- Especially when you see the amount of pro-zimmerman sites popping up all over the place.

I wouldn't say it is inherently partisan. It has been made partisan by the right wing that really doesn't have a clue about the naunce of race and ethnisity.
