Good Morning 4F'ers!

We overslept again this morning, which is not cool in so many ways, especially in that we don't want to repeat yesterdays blog with quick news bits. But nonetheless here we are:

Remember when The Clash sang

"When they kick out your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun"

Well, how about at 107 years old !

How to tell if your boy/girl friend and/or husband/wife and/or teenage is lying in a text?

Researchers at Brigham Young University found that texts containing a lie took longer to compose and were often shorter than truthful texts. This makes sense, but even armed with the knowledge humans are still poor lie detectors. The researchers found that through exact measurement and modeling they could predict SMS lies more accurately. "Unfortunately, humans are terrible at detecting deception. We’re creating methods to correct that," BYU researcher Tom Meservy said.

And - are you wanting some excitement in your life? It's not too late to buy a ticket to London to go to the Defence and Security Event. Here is where you can sign up! Have fun looking at all kinds of ways to kill people. Well, and to defend yourself with high tech machinery.

Oh, you might run into a few OccupyDESI protesters.

Lastly, if you could make it past page 48 of the book (I couldn't) there's soon to be a genuine porn movie made of 50 Shades of Grey. Hollywood jumps on in; and without casting Kim Kardashian!

Enjoy your Sunday!

Oh, and one more thing:

Dude lived to 107 years and decided to go out in a gun glory fire? *sigh* I don;t even know what to make of this story.

It's just sad. 107 years old; did he lose his marbles? did he succumb to Fox? Were the police just lunatics?

This is hellova sad way to go out.

It is. My paternal great grandfather (who sired my paternal grandfather at age 70) died at age 103 when he tripped over a broom and hit his head against a blast furnace in Scotland. I think he would have been grateful for a few more years or days. This is a tragedy.

Your great grandfather became a daddy again at 70? That's amazing!

(I am sorry about the way he passed. )

My grandfather lived to be 98 and died in his sleep.

Not like all those screaming people on the bus he was driving.
