As Rachel explained on the show last night, this meant a delay for an EMS crew arriving at the scene of a vehicle accident where four people were injured, an hour-long delay for an EMS coordinator to reach someone who called 911 complaining of chest pains, and the elderly woman who died.
Making matters slightly worse, Molly Redden noted there was a missing four-year-old child in Fort Lee that morning and though the toddler was eventually found, local police were initially hampered from responding due to the traffic crisis imposed on the community for no reason.
Reckless endangerment is either a third or fourth degree offense (depending on the facts of the case), which means a person convicted of it could face 3-5 years imprisonment, or less than 18 months respectively. The relevant portions of the applicable statutes are as follows:
2C:12-2 Reckless endangerment.
a. A person who purposely or knowingly does any act, including putting up a false light, which results in the loss or destruction of a vessel commits a crime of the third degree.
These areas are determined by the DHS by examining the relative risk of the 100 most populous Metropolitan Statistical Areas defined by the Office of Management and Budget. Relative risk is determined in a three step process that analyzes urban areas and states based on threat, vulnerability and consequence measurements, an effectiveness assessment of applicants’ investment justifications, and then the final allocation decision.
With a $12.48 million budget, the Citizen Corps is dedicated to bringing integrating the community and government to better coordinate local involvement in the preparation, planning, mitigation, response and recovery stages of emergencies. The main mission of the Citizen Corps is to utilize every resource by means of education, training, and volunteer service to local security and readiness to respond to threats of terror, crime, health issues, and disasters. CCP allocations are determined using the USA PATRIOT Act formula, which specifies that each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico will receive a minimum of 75 percent of the total available grant funding.

not really surprised either - I think it was Bill Press this morning who was saying he thought Christies was going to be contrite and not pushy at this press conference today - I really doubt that, I suspect he's going to go into super bully mode.

And Bill Stepien – who was only named as the new head the state GOP on Tuesday – also lost a lucrative contract with the Republican Governor’s Association, of which Christie is the head.

oh no he's not 2016 is a long way off, people will forget. Plus we are talking Repubs here, they still let the guy who bought coke and the guy who likes to wear diapers in their clubhouse.
Although I do wonder who let those emails out and it the tea party had something to do with it since they hate Christie so much. If so, he gets to paint himself as a victim again and why Dems should vote for him cause the tea party hates him

I'm not sure, David Wilder is pleading the 5th all over the place right now. I think dude is looking for immunity considering the Feds are now investigating.

Spartans!
One of the less interesting things I do is trawl through the spam filters and see what glorious emails you are all receiving from our friends in Latvia and other former SSR’s.
I thought it would be a good time for me to remind you all that, at times like these, tax time, Christmas etc, the criminals get creative and work up their subject lines to increase their “take†rate.
I’ve seen a lot of court related spam lately. There may well be a proportion of you who are busy evading the justice system, believe me when I say I don’t judge you. That’s for the judge or Robocop to do. But don’t be fooled by such gems as "Judicial summons #No795" or "Notice of appearance in court No90207â€. Don’t fall victim to schadenfreude and feel tempted to click through in case you may be related to the intended recipient. In all cases, if this is coming to your work email, this is a phishing attack. Of course if they are also phoning your home phone or hiding in your garden then it may be time to make that break for the border.
Also I see a lot of Internal Revenue and CRA subject lines. Again, if it’s coming to your work email then it is most likely Vladimir and his gang of credit ruining fun-loving criminals, not the actual audit team from the “Manâ€.
On the plus side I have had some great emails from you all, either being suspicious and getting me to validate your paranoia or in a couple of cases applying the learnings you have made this past year to unravel the lame attempts to exploit your general awesomeness. I love getting these emails. They make me think there is a point to me caring for my Spartans!
Have a virus, trojan and malware free 2014 and remember, it’s much less disruptive for you to delete an email on a false positive than it is to sit there for a couple of days while we fry your desktop and change all your account passwords.
