Yeah that's the interview. For a good part of it he was talking about how communications is much more centralized now than it was during the Cold War and it's that much easier for surveillance to cross the line. But towards the end the interviewer asked him if he had any actual proof that the NSA or any other government agency was using what it collects to discredit or go after citizens for anythig other than actual criminal activity... and he was like 'UHHHH NO BUT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IT!'

With Oma in a nursing home, I totally understand. She's doing alright and I know that she and My mom can't believe it came to it. Mom never wanted this for Oma. (Ironically, my mother insets that when the time comes we put her in a home so as to not a burden on my sisters. 
)

Clay Aiken's primary opponent for the NC 2nd CD Democratic nomination has died. Aiken was leading the vote count by a narrow margin, and his opponent was waiting to decided whether or not to challenge for a runoff. Now it looks like Aiken will face off in the general against Renee Ellmers
