I am so glad he was working from home yesterday. Things work in strange ways sometimes. Usually he's n the office on Thursdays.

Ya know my boss re-watched that final at-bat with us this morning and he's of the opinion that the Os pitcher threw a meatball. It was a pretty straight & slow pitch for sure.

I will admot I was having a WTF moment EVERY time I saw Will myself, but I really think He in the end proved to be a useful tool/fool to show that so many of the things that the Roosevelt's were fighting exist today. He actually said *Really PBS? is this what you are presenting?"
The thing is, I could understand this opinion if it wasn't based on basically the first few minutes of a 14 hour documentary that many many of his listeners said to Thom that this one was a MUST WATCH.

I have been busy and I am catching up to the documentary during the High Holy Days. I saw the first episode, and while I dislike George Will, he merely showed the conservatives have a narrow view of the Constitution. To George Will, the Constitution is a dead thing to be worshiped like a pharaoh. To me, it is a living document that must be imbued with meaning by every generation.As such, we see new rights that were not once thought of by the Founders. (I have a similar view of religious texts, as new interpretations are needed in any faith as times change.)
I will say that I had hoped for Gary Wills over George Will. Still, I think that Mr. Hartmann is in error. I also think that Theodore Roosevelt would have called George Will a servile toad for the moneyed interests and FDR would have called George Will a court jester seeking to be a courtier for the new economic royalists. YMMV.
