Fluffy? Not so much. I have had a final confrontation and irrevocable break with my old friend. As always, he continues to blame everyone else for his poor choices. The best one was blaming un-named 'hackers' for infecting his computer with porn. He told me to stay away from his family and that if I told anyone about this that I would 'find myself in court'

These are no longer the rantings of a sane man.

I feel like I accomplished something today. There was a troll in the "Rick Scott is Not My Governor" group on Facebook ranting about how POTUS has broken the law and has granted amnesty to "illegals," he's never going to vote Democrat again. I was polite, asked him to prove his assertations. He cited a quote from Liberal America from some yahoo Republican who claims Obama violating a statute by adding and abetting people that entering the country illegally.

I know, just frustrated by my whole family at this point. Her money is about to run out and they have to get her on medicaid or assistance of something so she can stay.

CAUGHT THE BASTARDS!

Talking about the student loan collections assholes. One of the things the first rep told me on the initial phone call, and that I verified later by speaking to another rep, was that after completing the loan rehab term all the collections fees (which amount to ~25% of the loan's current P&I - or ~$5K) would be forgiven.

Today, after three days of waiting for a reply to have them put this into writing (because none of the paperwork they sent mentioned it at all), and three follow-up emails asking for a reply, I get an email from a supervisor saying that it's not true - they'd only reduce the fees to 16%.

Either the rep is badly trained and didn't tell me the whole story, or he deliberately misled me. Either way, I can at the very least file a civil lawsuit. I might be able to file a complaint for federal criminal charges too.

I totally dig that, Mala. I spent a few sleepless nights worrying about getting Mrs Mondo on Medicaid. The home had a super helpful social worker, she took the point on getting the appointments sent up with DCF here. Once it was done, given Mrs Mondo's level of disability, there was no problem with medicaid. I am still grateful that AOL had such kick-ass insurance to cover the hospital visits. I had no out of pocket for any of that.

Thanks. I think this place my aunt is is used to this but this is a first for anyone in my family. This is my aunt that has alzeheimers and was only diagnosed a little over a year ago. Really a lot of it is family drama that's stressing me out, my mom refusing to talk to the POA, being stubborn, still wanting to put money in my aunts account so she can do things. Its just craziness that has me doing this -> (but with more tears)
