We're headed up to Loon in Lincoln, NH at the time you read this, so I"m posting later Friday pm so I don't have to do it in the morning.

There's been quite a few stories circulating about this past week about a certain fascist dictator and his lack of an appropriate....appendage.

Now, I'm a WWII geek, and Herr Hitler is one of those endlessly fascinating individuals in the whole thing. But, other than knowing generally about his issues, Der Fuehrer's Penis is not anything I have ever pondered.

In fact, I have a list of things that I try not to think about regularly, and you'll see where this falls. As always, your mileage may vary.

What if God is only a man-made construct to cover up mankind's general lack-of-knowledge during prehistory about the nature of life on Earth, the Cosmos, and how we came to be, and the Pope is just the most popular kid in Rome that day, and there really isn't an afterlife worth speaking of? Perhaps mankind would be better served by trying to be kind to each other instead of executing our fellow-creatures as "Non-Believers" because they happen to believe their version of made-up history because our ancestors didn't have the internet and couldn't take to each other and decide on a similar cover story instead of the competing ones we have now?
