Good Morning.

The GOP nominee is still insane...

I really could not focus on anything to write about this morning. There is great news coming out of early voting states. This is when all the talk of big numbers is usually very good for Dems.

I really really hope that people are voting for down-ticket races. I would love to see a real sea change election -- and you know, Real Clear politics declared Texas a toss-up state this morning!

The Missouri senate race is in play and Hillary is spending time in RED STATES.

This is all good stuff!

Yes, we have two more excruciating weeks.

In the meantime, RIP Tom Hayden.

Since Florida is stupid, the state supreme court justices are appointed by the governor, but they come up for a vote every six years to retain the job. We have, what in sane states, would be ballot questions. Here they are amendments to the state constitution. For example Amendment One, the (misleading backed by FPL and other power companies) Solar Amendment. That is a No vote. Then there is the medical weed question, that is a yes. There are a couple of others that are also yes votes.

That is the problem with doing these as amendments to the state constitution. We have a class size amendment here, which is widely ignored because of the crappy funding priorities of the republican dominated state legislature. Not to mention the worst governor in the world.

That they have a line floating down just looks stupid.

and then there is the resolution problem. They took the top part straight from the Rassmussen website -- and I mean they took a 72 (or less) DPI and blew it up so it looks blurry -- it's really really bad.

Let me put it this way. In my former job here. If I tried to submit a change to a website that looked like that, it would have been returned to be to fix.
