Looks like there are a few more long distance dedications this week. From Donnie to Vlad and vice versa, seems we have quite the love affair.

ETA Scoopster's earlier blog content:

The future, always so clear to me, had become like a black highway at night. We were in uncharted territory now, making up history as we went along.

Sarah Connor, from the final scene in Terminator 2

I thought about this quote when trying to come up with words to describe what we're about to experience today.

Yesterday, this news came across my twitter feed:

It made me think for a moment, not about the person about to take the oath of office, but about Obama himself and the position he is in. What could be so distressing that it would lead him to a decision to come very close to violating his own oath, to want to delay and potentially hold onto that office even at the cost of betraying the country's trust in such a bold way?

We'll find out today a little after 2pm DC time.

I read that comment a little differently. To me, it means they are going to focus on getting to the bottom of the Putin interference, and the transition takes a back seat. That means come Jan 20, they are dropping the mic and walking out the door, and tRump will have to figure it out on his own.

I did read it that way as well. I guess I've had some extra time to think about this stuff since I've been home sick for two days watching it all unfold, and started to think 'how would the folks out there who've been grumbling about Obama for the past 8 years interpret this?' Which led me to this rather interesting possibility.

Should we merge the 2 blogs? Or I can just delete this one?

Heard noted asshat Chuck Todd on TOP this morning saying there really wasn't anything Obama can do unless he pulls an Adlai Stevenson moment.

Until Chuck Todd becomes a constitutional Scholar, I'm gonna stick with POTUS.

:)

JJ Green had some interesting comments as well, BTW.

Really? I may check that out.

Yeah, I remember him saying that he had some really high level sources(Pentagon I thing) that were confirming stuff for him when this started breaking.

My boss is writing a LTE to be sent to several different outlets.

His topic : Obama should be head of the DNC.

Interesting idea......

All of this is making me wonder if I should leave the country. There's nothing really keeping me here right now. The only advantage to still being single.

Hello I have been in 3 hours of Google Adword train.

That is the unfun part. Fun parts are: 1, the test is only 55 questions this year (last year it was like 105) and the certification is for 24 months, not just 12.

There was a thing on "Frontline" about Putin and Russia under him. They estimated his wealth as somewhere between $40 and $200 BILLION.

Comment by livingonli on 12/16/2016 18:21:31
On last night's show, Rachel pegged it at 85 billion. According to some estimates, Trump is only worth 150 million and he is deep in debt.
