Skimming a summary of the Ryan Townhall, I see all he did was dodge and no one really pressed him hard on anything. Still waiting for someone to get a solid answer on what they are replacing the ACA with.

The caller is not wrong. Thing is Ryan and all them will never see themselves as above us, they are the privileged class and will never want for anything. The rest of us are to be looked down on because we allow ourselves to be in need of help.

here is something really lovely.

The Bush Twins wrote a letter to Saha and Malia. .
Enjoy college. As most of the world knows, we did. And you won’t have the weight of the world on your young shoulders anymore. Explore your passions. Learn who you are. Make mistakes—you are allowed to. Continue to surround yourself with loyal friends who know you, adore you and will fiercely protect you. Those who judge you don’t love you, and their voices shouldn’t hold weight. Rather, it’s your own hearts that matter.

“My troops will be on the street,” Schwartz, 65, said. “I’ll see them off but I won’t be able to welcome them back to the armory.” He said that he would “never plan to leave a mission in the middle of a battle.”

Schwartz said he would oversee duties in a command center and then depart at 12:01 p.m., retiring from the Army.

Schwartz said that he has been swamped with inauguration duties and packing up four decades’ worth of papers and accumulated items, and has not yet been able to inform District officials, including the mayor and the chair of the D.C. Council. Unlike in states, where the governor appoints the National Guard commander, in the District that duty falls to the president.

Schwartz said that he has not been told why he was asked to step down. “I’m a soldier,” he said, noting that he was following orders and has no regrets. “I’m a presidential appointee, therefore the president as the power to remove me.”

This is really problematic.

I don't know. Forcing the man to Retire is REALLY shitty.

It fits Trump better than one of his baggy suits, though. Denying someone a career milestone and humiliating them at the same time? Total Trump move.

Raine, he looks adorable. I so want to get a dog of my own, but will wait until I get my own place. (Not sure to go with an older dog or a pup, but I think that a rescue dog is what I would like ... as my girl Holly was an abandoned pup.)

I am disappointed in Three Doors Down, but I see that Trump is struggling to find entertainers. Maybe they can find this guy?

Israel intelligence agencies are worried about sharing intelligence with the U.S., for rear that it will end up in the Kremlin.

Many people in Israeli intelligence agencies do not like Netanyahu or his embrace of Trump.

I think that is the same article I saw earlier on the Haaretz website. It is disturbing.

I know nobody is going to see this at this hour, but today is the anniversary of one of those seminal events of my youth.

Flight 90 piled it in on this day in 1982 on the 14th Street bridge (DC).

I always seem to make a note of it.
