Round two! Potus debate blog
Author: Raine    Date: 10/07/2008 23:28:15

Good evening and a hearty hello to one and all! Tonite at 9 pm, we will be watching the second POTUS debate.

OK, this one really isn't quite a debate, it is a town hall and questions will be asked of the candidates from undecided voters. Tom Brokaw will be meeting the questioners before the debate, and he will select what questions get asked.

I have heard that there will be no rebuttals, so I must say I plan on being disappoineed. That being said, I wonder if John McCain will have the spine to actually LOOK at Barack Obama.

Will John Go off on a ramble and forget what the question was? Will he show his temper? So many questions...

I have found a bingo game for tonite. If there are any suggestions to a good drinking game that won't get everyone in the hospital with Alcohol poisoning (with the exception of Ms. Jones who is our designated safe blogger tonite) Please post em!

Arizona Central POTUS debate Bingo.

Come on inside, and let's blog away!
:gobama:
:peace: and

What he is talking about is this: currently is you can only buy health insurance that is offered in the state where you live. You live in Florida, you need to buy BCBS of FLorida. If you live in Georgia, you buy from BCBS of Georgia. I can't go to the BCBS of GA if it is cheaper than BCBS of FL.

McCain spreads fear by making me afraid of a McCain presidency. How likely would it be that he would start World War III and kill us all?

From a reader on another blog:
Best dumb ass line of the debate so far: "Senator Obama says it has to be safe for disposal or whatever, my friends I’ve been on ships with nuclear… and I’m fine. It’s safe.” This from the man who’s been treated for five – count em five – episodes of melanoma, not to mention other bizarre health conditions.

Comment by livingonli on 10/08/2008 03:10:00
Evening mfaye. Nah, I'm still at work. I will probably catch the debate stuff when I get home. Just as long as McCain doesn't make me mad enough that I throw something and break my HD set.

Next time stick to Wright or something...it's not as blantly racist.

I love it... The MCCains left at 10:43.... The Obama stayed quite longer to greet the people who were there at the debate.

McCAin clearly despises barack obama. This is so crystal clear to me tonite.

In the past I thought of it as a simple political thing, after watching this debate, coupled with the first one... Grampy really resents Barack Obama to the very single point that he will not touch hom and referred to him as "That One"

He is an angry angry man.

Comment by trojanrabbit on 10/08/2008 04:13:43
Ugh. I fails at teh maths. I tried to record KLTK today up until after the debate, so I told the PC to record for 14 hours. Needed another 4.

Comment by Raine on 10/08/2008 04:16:27
I know most people have gone for the evening, and I am soon as well.

I just want to post another observation... I find it VERY interesting that when Barack is listening to a person, such as John McCain, even when he lies... he has the ability to look like he is TRULY listening.

Go back and watch parts of the debate... McCain never looked to listen... he took notes, he paces around the stage, he snickered....

And Barack never took his eyes off of McCain, I never once saw him take a note or look away from his opponent, unless he was actually answering a question.

I got home a few minutes ago and I think I twisted my right foot when it jerked the wrong way. It will clear up but it hurts like hell right now. I'm actually watching the KO pre-debate show right now I listened to some of the debate while driving home as it was being replayed on the satellite radio machine.

Just a reminder, the final debate will be in my own backyard at my alma matter (Hofstra Class of '89). I wasn't invited but I am also working that night since I took the night off before to follow the Canadian election (just covering my ass).
